Do we need to be nearby?
No. Ledgeward is fully virtual. Everything happens through a secure portal, email and video calls.
How does billing work?
A flat monthly fee, paid automatically on the 1st. Work for the month begins once payment clears.
What accounting software do you use?
We work exclusively in QuickBooks Online, and every Ledgeward bookkeeper is a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor. If you're already on QuickBooks Online, we'll pick up in your existing file; if not, we'll set you up and move your history over. Your QuickBooks subscription is billed at our discounted rate and shown as its own line, so you always see what it costs.
Can you prepare our tax returns?
Yes. Forward and Advisory include one business return and one owner return, plus tax planning all year. Essentials clients can add tax prep separately.
Is my information secure?
Documents move through an encrypted client portal instead of email attachments, our accounts use multi-factor authentication, and only the people working on your books can see them. Our privacy policy has the details.
